This weekend, I gave a lot of thought to our homeschool, and chore schedule. I feel this way every year after the Christmas break. I begin to see chores left undone because of the holidays, school work that needs completed and a feeling that things need to be organized. I guess it is a good thing because it helps me to refocus and get things done before Summer. If I don't stay on a schedule or at least have one to somewhat follow, I am very lazy. I could just play with the children, stay on the computer and of course take a nap.
Because of my new schedule, we had a great day. Both children got a lot of work done, Hannah seemed in a fairly good mood, and we got the chores completed. Sierra and I even cooked dinner. Sierra made the comment that things went smooth today. Oh, I need to write this schedule down. We are going to stick with this until May 1st. May 1st is when we start our Summer break. We are all looking forward to Summer. Especially, when we had 65 degree weather today and YES, the children and I took a nice long walk.
I will post our schedule soon. Hopefully, it will be an encouragement to some of our homeschooling friends.
Daily Verse
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
