The Last Three Days

The last 3 days it has been sunny and warm. We are sticking to our schedule and getting a lot accomplished. Sierra finished her Science FOR THE YEAR this week. I hadn't thought she would finish so quickly. Now, she can work more on other subjects. Andrew is working hard on learning his letters, letter sounds, and recognizing his numbers. Before the Christmas break, Andrew was ready to start putting sounds together. However, he seems to have forgotten a lot of what we worked on the first half of the year. :( I know now that Andrew must have shorter breaks and constant learning. Hannah is slowly learning that we have a new way of doing school at our house. This means that Mommy will not sit and hold me and can not jump on command. Unless, she decides to climb on something. Like today when she tried to climb on the kitchen cabinet!! After our formal lessons, we have had picnics outside on the deck, taken walks in the woods behind our house and just played in the 70 degree weather. I know we need Winter but I long for the nice warm days of Summer.
