Daily Verse
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

LOOSING A TOOTH
This morning Andrew came up to me and said, "my tooth is bent". This is only after he showed it to Sierra. Sierra told him that he needed to tell me. I examined the tooth and let Andrew know that he had his first loose tooth. I got a paper towel and gave the little front tooth a pull. Out came my son's first tooth. For some parents this is just a normal happening, for me it was very special. You see as a foster/adoptive parent sometimes you miss out on the FIRST CRY, FIRST WORD, FIRST STEPS and many more firsts. This is the case with me. I missed a lot of our son's firsts. This and many more things I was aware of when I became a foster parent. Even though I am thankful that I met Andrew when he was 51/2, I still miss knowing him the first 5 years of his life. Today is one of those times Andrew and I will always remember. When the other children are asking me, "How did I loose my first tooth?",Andrew will also be able to ask and GET an answer. Yes, today is a special day. Today, I pulled Andrew's first tooth. It only bleed a little but Andrew didn't cry. He is so proud of loosing his tooth. He called his Daddy at work and when Daddy got home Andrew had to show him the hole in his mouth and the TOOTH! I love being a mommy and I thank God that He has allowed me to stay home with my children, teach them, and encourage them. I thank God for all three of our children. God put our family together through LOVE. LOVE CREATES A FAMILY!
