Lately, Hannah has been saying more and more words. The word she likes to use most is "NO" and she shakes her head as she says "NO". Today, was the first time I asked her to do something and she replied, "NO" and preceded to lay on the floor. Of course, I did not allow this behavior. I stood her up, gave her the object and repeated my command. She did as she was told. Now, this may not happen tomorrow but for today she learned that Mommy was not going to allow her to say "No" and get away with it.
Some of the words she uses most often are kitty (She loves to watch Garfield.), beast ( Her next favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast.), turtle (Her favorite book has a turtle in it.), eat, milk, juice, shoes, bow, go, gotta go, bye-bye, move, stop, pee-pee, pooped, mine, this, and my favorite of all is when I ask her, "Who is Mommy's baby?" and she replies "Me".
Along with learning new words, today she learned how to open the baby gate leading into the master bedroom. Oh, this week will prove to be fun trying to keep her out of our room and bathroom.
Hannah is already letting us know she is soon to be two.
Daily Verse
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
